Join us for Roots to Rise, an anniversary dinner honoring the past, celebrating the present, and looking toward what’s ahead.
This year, the evening will unfold as a regular dinner service rather than a ticketed event, with a few thoughtful surprises along the way. To thank our community, we’re offering 25% off all food for the night (drinks not included).
Roots to Rise reflects our journey—grounded in the relationships, cultures, and lived experiences that brought us here, and continuing to grow with intention and care. Over the past three years, we’ve shared meals through moments of uncertainty, celebration, and change, alongside the friends, neighbors, and community that have carried us here.
As we mark three years since opening in Upham’s Corner, this dinner is a moment to reflect, gather, and continue building—rooted in community, shaped by culture, and guided by a deep sense of place.
This anniversary dinner marks three years since Comfort Kitchen opened its doors in Upham’s Corner, Dorchester. It is a moment to reflect on where we began, celebrate the community that shaped us, and look ahead to what is still unfolding.
Our story began long before our doors opened. From pop ups and collaborations across Boston to our first night of service at 611 Columbia Road, Comfort Kitchen has always been rooted in the belief that food is a powerful way to build community.
Roots to Rise reflects our journey—grounded in the relationships, cultures, and lived experiences that brought us here, and continuing to grow with intention and care. Through shared tables, cross cultural cooking, and deep collaboration, we have sought to honor the histories and people that make up this neighborhood while creating something new together.
