    • Reservation time limit: Your table is reserved for 1 hr 30 mins for parties of 1-5 guests and 2 hrs for parties of 6+ guests. We are a small 30-seat restaurant and do our best to accommodate all guests in a timely manner. Please be mindful of your dining time with us.

    • If you’re running late: please call us at (617) 329-6910. We hold the table up to 15 minutes past the reservation time. After the 15-minute hold, we'll do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee your table will be available. Dining time cannot be extended for guests arriving late.

    • CANCELLATIONS must be made by 5pm the day before your reservation to avoid a $10 FEE per person. Please DO NOT call or leave a voicemail. Due to the large volume of calls, we cannot guarantee modifications via phone calls as we may be in service or not open.

    • All reservation MODIFICATIONS must be done by guests through Open Table (cancellation, rescheduling, adding/removing a person). Message us on OpenTable. Do not leave a voicemail. There is a $10 FEE for same-day ADDED or REMOVED guests, per guest.

    • An automatic 5% kitchen appreciation fee will be added to the total of the bill before tax. This will directly benefit and be split among the kitchen staff. We believe this is the most transparent and best way in place of raising our menu prices, to help close the gap in wage disparities between our service and kitchen teams.

    • Walk-ins: Although dinner reservations are required, we welcome a small number of walk-ins at our full-service bar with 6 stools and on our patios (weather-dependent), available on a first-come, first-served basis (wait time not guaranteed).

    • Large Groups & Private Dining: we do not have a separate dining room. We can accommodate parties of up to 8 guests indoors and 10 guests on the patio (weather-dependent). Larger parties require a buyout. Request >

    • Daytime Cafe Service: no reservations are needed for our cafe counter service Thursday-Sunday 9am-3pm. We offer a more casual service and menu of sandwiches, grain bowls, salads, coffee, and tea. Cafe Menu >

    • A cutting fee of $5 per person will be added for all outside cakes or desserts.

    • A corkage fee of $25 will be added for wines not purchased at the restaurant.

    • There is a $10 FEE for same-day ADDED or REMOVED guests, per guest.

    • Parties will be seated once the first guest arrives. Dining time cannot be extended for guests arriving late in your party.

    • For the safety and comfort of our staff and guests, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion.

    • Reservation waitlist: on the OpenTable app, set an alert for your desired date/time to be alerted if a reservation becomes available in case of cancellations.

    • The semi-private Banquette Niche: can comfortably accommodate 6 guests, with a slightly snugger fit for up to 8 guests (book online via OpenTable)

    • Large party reservations: we can accommodate parties of up to 8 guests indoors and up to 10 guests on the outdoor patio (weather-dependent)

    • Parties over 8 guests indoors (or over 10 guests outdoors) require a full buy-out: We do not have a separate private dining room. We do not offer partial buyouts. Please send us a request >

  • Catering:

    • We require 3-4 weeks lead time for the requested dates.

    • We offer on-site and drop-off catering for intimate gatherings and larger events of up to 200 people.

    Private Dining:

    • We do not have a separate private dining room.

    • Parties over 8 guests indoors (or over 10 guests on the patio) require a full buy-out.

    • We do not offer partial buyouts.

    • Our indoor dining space (40-50 guests) and two side patios (20-35 guests) can be reserved for private events. Request Form >

    • We require 30-60 days lead time for buyout requests (subject to availability)

    • Menu: both patios now offer the FULL dinner & beverage menu (same as indoors)

    • Patio reservations are weather-dependent and may be canceled due to inclement weather. We cannot guarantee a table indoors in the case of a patio cancelation.

    • If weather conditions are severe, such as temperatures below 40 degrees, high winds, and heavy rain or snow, all reservations we are unable to accommodate in the dining room will be canceled.

    • We welcome a small number of walk-ins on the patio on a first come, first served basis (wait time not guaranteed).

    • Our patios are mostly uncovered and exposed to the elements, and each has 1 propane heater

    • Only service dogs are allowed.
