For this meaningful evening, Comfort Kitchen’s team will gather alongside Chef Nyanyika Banda and Chef Valentine Howell for a communal farm-to-table experience rooted in storytelling, resilience, and the power of the shared table.

The evening will take place outdoors under a tent, with a multi-course menu highlighting Powisset-grown and locally sourced ingredients shaped by the early summer season.

We are excited to join Baleia for a one-night-only collaboration dinner with Chef Andrew Hebert and Chef Sāsha Coleman.

This 5-course dinner with cocktail and wine pairings will celebrate the flavors and historical influences that connect Portugal, Cape Verde, and Northern Africa. Guests can expect a thoughtful menu shaped by culture, movement, and cuisine across the Atlantic.

The evening includes welcome drinks and snacks upon arrival, followed by a coursed dinner featuring dishes like blackened tuna with ras el hanout and harissa, grilled sea bass with piri piri, cachupa refogada, and dulce de leche flan.

Nepali Thali returns to Comfort Kitchen for a special all-you-can-eat dining experience celebrating the flavors and traditions of Nepal.

Curated by Chef Sāsha and guided by the authentic recipes and cooking traditions of Ama, Biplaw’s mother, this meal is rooted in family, memory, and hospitality. In Nepali culture, a thali is more than a meal. It is a full expression of balance, abundance, and care.

Each tray brings together a variety of small dishes meant to be enjoyed together, creating harmony across sweet, sour, salty, bitter, spicy, and astringent flavors.

Three women from Côte d’Ivoire, living together in Tunisia without legal status, take in a young girl from another unnamed African country who washes ashore after a shipwreck. As this fragile, makeshift family begins to take shape, mounting pressures force each woman to confront where she belongs—and what she’s willing to risk. Premiered in Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival. Followed by a discussion led by Haleigh Burgon, a PhD candidate in French and Francophone Studies at Boston University, who recently returned from a research trip to Tunisia, where she conducted oral history interviews with over a dozen women. Her dissertation investigates how French and Francophone women writers and creators use representations of motherhood and memory.
